Sorry Wes!  I had to steal this pic from one of your ads

What kind of locking collar is that on the stock tube which replaces the standard castle nut?

Anyone know?

What exactly is it you are talking about?  The stock, the grip, the handguard, flashlight, optic, what?  I'm guessing handguard, since you are saying barrel nut, in which case, the handguard is a Daniel Defense FF tube, made in Savannah, GA and retails for around $300 for the CAR version.  The barrel nut is aluminum and replaces the stock barrel nut.

No, I think he's talking about the castle nut on the receiver extension.  Take a look right above the single point sling mount on the lower.

I believe you're talking about the receiver end plate, in front of the castle nut.

If I'm not mistaken, it's a Knight's end plate that takes a QD sling swivel for use with single point slings.

Look here for "single point sling mount".

Yep, it's a KAC Singlepoint mount.  I have and use them.  Good stuff.

So you mean that collar comes with the plate?

E-mail inbound to you QS.

Not sure what you mean by "collar".  The singlepoint plate has a socket on the bottom sides of it to accept the QD swivel.  The round thingy you're seeing behind it is an old-style CAR nut.

Yes, if you use a newer "castle" style nut, its too fat and you won't be able to fully collapse your stock.   Its just a hair too long.

Mine came with one of those, either that or it came with the VLTOR, I can't remember.
