They work fine but you really should bed them to the carry handle and not get into a habit of taking it on and off.
It's best asset is that it will allow you to mount the scope a little further forward than other similar mounts, a draw back is that they are made out of a pretty soft metal. |

There are some real Leatherwoods, and some knockoffs. The knockoffs are junk. There are better mounts around than the real ones.
