Looking to buy a black Colt charging handle.
Anyone sell Colt factory parts besides SAW and Brownell's?

Thanks.

If you don't mind used, check out the EE.

If you're receiver isn't Colt grey and you are looking for a black CH, why not try another manufacturer?  CH's aren't marked so you might not ever know if the CH you buy is a real Colt.

Armament Services International carries Colt parts, although I don't know if they sell each and every small part.

CDNN also sells Colt charging handles removed from new surplus M16A1's, but who knows if they are black or grey.

CDNNs are dark gray; darker than the earliest issue, but not the current black.

Hey, it's a Colt thang! If I was building a Bushmaster, I'd want all BM parts...
And Dennis Todd has a good price on the CH, btw....

Skip the Colt.  Might as well go all the way and get a Gas Buster from PRI.

If it is a Colt, use Colt parts.  unless of course you were leading him towards the PRI Gasbuster

IYAOYAS.  Hmm.  I seem to remember an A instead of an O.  No one liked them either.

I mean this in good fun, of course.  If you're flying that 'flag' you're the black sheep and you like it that way :)

OK, I am about to put a Bushmaster upper on a Colt. Am I doing wrong? Am I taking this convo out of context?

Functionally it will be fine.  Colt owners just generally don't like to compromise the integrety of their rifles with off brand parts.

Like I said in my other post, I too shoot some bushy uppers on my COLT to save wear on the COLT Barrel.

I got two of the Colt Charging handles from www.cdnninvestments.com/.  And although they are advertised as good condition used, the ones I got were essentially BRAND NEW.

Both of these charging handles came from CDNN.  One matched my Colt light gray receiver perfectly and the other matched my darker gray "FN" receiver pretty well.

They are very busy. My Department ordered two rifles on 9/10/04. They were not delivered until 10/3/04.

It's hit or miss.  I've never had any problems with them, but plenty of bad stories floating around here over the years.  Just be sure to ask clearly if they have what you want in stock.
