I have the cash to buy a new AR, but I am not sure who to go with (colt, bushmaster, dpms, etc...).  I want something in the M4 style.  My main concern is the reliablility of the weapon and its quality.  Any suggestions?

RRA M4gery, or wait 'til september.  

I've got an RRA M4 upper, it's sweet.  I'm waiting 'til after the ban to slap a collapsible stock on it to make it a little more authentic.  

Keep saving then pick up a Bushmaster and some goodies in late Sept.  

I'm looking to get rid of a 5.56 to get a Beowulf.  Interested in a trade?

I've dealt with RB Precision for a few uppers and they have excellent customer service and gave me the best prices that I could find. One thing with RRA is that they are pretty backed up right now (I was quoted a 4-5 week wait) so I would order a pre-ban setup now and by the time you got it the AWB will be over (16" CAR A4 pre-ban upper with R4 chrome lined barrel and A2 flashhider -
$405 shipped from RB). This would look pretty much like an M4 (RRA calls the barrel R4 and they have R4 handguards). Check around your area to see who deals what. There is a very limited selection of AR stuff in my area but I did find a guy who would do an FFL transfer for me for $10 so I just ordered from RB.
