I'm making a trade for a Colt 9mm upper, is this going to work on my bushmaster 5.56 lower?  I was told I might need to change my buffer spring, is that right?

Or get your bolt ramped for use with 5.56 standard hammer.

You'll need a 9mm mag block (You're using the Colt system), 9mm hammer and if you
are using a telestock you will need an H Buffer. If you have a full A1/A2 stock, the standard
buffer will work fine.
