For yall that have camoed your ARs with Bowflage can you please post pics. Where can I get this stuff and does it wear off easy?

I'll have to see if I have a pic around somewhere...

Mine was done over a year ago, and it is holding its own. Only seems to wear on 'hi contact' areas like the rips on the forearms.

It pretty much stays on until you want it to come off.

I get mine at www.eders.com. Sorry - no pics, I don't have any painted rifles anyway.

In the end, after 50 different camo jobs, you'll want your rifles black again.

I have a bolt gun i camoed with bowflage a few yrs ago and i was not happy with the wear which i thought was excessive, so i re did it and then sprayed on a coat of satin clear coat. This left it a little shiney and made the bowflage permanent. I sanded lightly with fine sandpaper to knock off the shine and i have been happy with it since then.

I sprayed my furniture only (because I am a puss) and it held up ok. My biggest problem was that Remoil overspray would get on it and would take it off. As a matter of fact, I used the remoil to remove it when I wanted to change things up.

Very useful info gents. I'm not sure which rifle I want to test it on first.

Like bjwar said the only thing I'm worried about is the cleaning oil wearing it off.

Thats probably why he's picking bow-flage and not going the Krylon route.
