I've never seen on on a gooseneck but bushmasters sells a gooseneck that is adjustable for height so you could vary it.

Mounted on railed handguards (or otherwise at flattop height), if you were looking through the irons, the center dot would appear to be right about centered in the EOTech's window. Normally, you use the optic by looking over the top of the irons, and the reticule will be in the upper portion of the EOTech window.

I have an EOtech mounted on the BC adjustable gooseneck. Its adjustable enought that you can put the iron sights anywhere vertically you want too. I have mine co-witnessed at the bottom third of the lens. I prefer this because I can easily look over the top of the irons and have 2/3's of the lens clear with nothing but red dot. I'll post pictures later if I can get my photo server up and running again.

Absolut can you still see the irons with that set up or do you have to take the mount off?
