I've got the 24" LR, and it's very nice...but it's a BEAST in terms of weight.
If I had it to do over, I'd get the one you're getting, or even the 16" HBAR. I still might get one, but I'm waiting to see if DPMS decides do start selling the uppers separate. It's a very well made weapon, and the fit and finish is excellent. I think you'll like it. |

I have no experience with the 18" version, but I love the 24" Take a look at my web site for details.

I have a 24" and it shoots like a house a fire. .5 with Federal 175 gr Match and Leupold 6.5x20 scope.
The only thing we did to it was a a Jewel Trigger. I have some AR10 original mags and just made a minor adjustment to the ears that keep the mag from being over-seated in the original AR10 and they work perfectly. I have also used a buddies KAC mags and they worked perfectly also. This is a very high quality rife at a very reasonable price. I would predict that when the ban ends and hi caps can be produced for this rifle its sales will rise quite a bit. Denny |
