I haven't heard of any problems with any currently made brand of forged lowers, so buy what you like the look of and at the price you want to spend. For the money, right now, I prefer the Eagle lowers. Century also makes a pretty good unit, along with the other two brands mentioned. And there's Rock River, Olympic, etc etc. After all, there are only so many manufacturers and, with all the competition, if they weren't good quality they wouldn't be around too long.

I would be more picky as to whose lower kits I used than in choosing the lower itself. All parts aren't the same quality.

Try Dave at Quantico Arms.  85bucks for a forged lower I think that is the cheapest I have seen them.  I got 2.
