Ok, I am looking to make a Pre-ban XM-177 look alike. I have a lower....upper..I know i need two posit stock...working on that...suggestions welcome of course...but I need info on the bbl. I'm not so worried about all the baffles and such...I don't want to go down the class three road. What I want is a semi auto carbine that looks on the out side just like the orginal. I'm guessing I need a lightweight bbl from the photo's I've seen. I was thinking I would need to buy a Bushy super-lite and send it to KKF to get it cut down and get a perm attatched something or other put on...what are your thoughts? Thanks!

Bushmaster has two units that may work for you.  One is a sleave unit that you would need to cut/re-thread about 1 1/2" off the barrel to perm attach to get to 16". the other is a 4 1/2" unit that would need to be perm attached.

Colt-653 is that a 4 1/2" flake mod on a 12 1/2" barrel, or is that a 5 1/2" fake mod on a 11.5" barrel.  

If it's a 5 1/2" unit, whats the price on the unit?
