Very tough choice as all of them are very fine rifles. So the obvious answer is: One of each!

The Bushmaster Modular model has by far the best features. It has a 16" Chrome lined and fluted barrel, flip up front and rear sights, A b.m.a.s. front rail system that is free floating, Ergo grip and an Ace stock. It is has by far the best and most features of the rifles you mentioned.

It's your money and your choice ,but you should at least look at a Colt MT6400 it is at least as good as the rest and better than most.I know I'll get flack from the colt haters ,so let the fun start .

Decide what you really want and then build your own. Cheaper & will make you more intelligent. I wanted as close to an M4 as I could legally get, and this is about the only way to go (other than the Colt MT6400 - ?).

What AR's do you currently have? What will the intended use of this AR be (home defense, plinking, etc)? Without knowing more detail I'd say get the Armalite AR-10 because I don't have one of those yet [;)]

Why have some sissy .22 or .30 caliber gun when you could have a .45 that can offer 600 grains of silenced love?

I would really second the build it yourself option. You can buy exactly what you want, and learn all about your weapon. It is pretty basic, and simple tools in your garage can throw it together.
It isn't rocket science, its more like a snap together model. |

I will third the build it yourself crowd, but add this: If you are uncomfortable with building youir own from scratch, then I might suggest buying a complete lower minus the stock and then buy a ready built upper separately. That way, you can add whatever stock you like and have the upper of your dreams. Buying them separately saves you the 11% excise tax that complete rifles tack on.

ROCK RIVER ARMS is the only way to go, IMHO.
I heve two RRA's and two Ar's that I've built. I love building the rifles, but for a serious social gun I prefer My RRA UTE's. This is only one opinion though. |
