I have a CAR upper with a 16" Wilson NM bbl. What upper should I get now? The weight is not a problem.I am trying to choose between a M4 upper with an A3 reciever or a flattop more geared towards precision shots at range. The flattop would of course be 20 to 24". I could use some help

Thanks,

Ron

I you already have a 16" upper, I would go with a 20" standard upper to round out your available configurations. I would think a good milspec government profile A4 would be good way to start if you want the flat top, 1-in-7 if you want current tech, but you will pay more for ammo.

Since you already have a carbine upper, my vote would be for a 20-inch flattop upper, preferably free-floated. That way, you can have a "precision" upper, AND one for "quickies".
