Any reviews for the FIRSH? I did a search and couldnt come up with anything. Anyone have it and would like to comment?

At one time there was an extensive thread over on [url=http://www.ar15.com/forums/board.html?b=3]Rifles, Uppers, Lowers, Barrels, and more[/url] that reviewed all the major handguard systems available at the time.  I can't remember who did the review so I can't tell you who to IM but basically the FIRSH was a decent handguard for it's price range but still didn't stack up to the KAC or the SIR.

You'll also have to remove your front sight post to install it.  I'd recommend you contact "new-arguy" here on the boards be
cause nobody seems to know more about handguards than him.

Edited to add: If I remember correctly new-arguy was the one that did the review.  Contact him and see if he has the write-up.

hehe i can't wait that long :P As long as no one comes out and says its a total piece of !Q#$ i think i might take my chances. Of course it will not be as good as a KAC RASII, but heck. $99 VS $330 is not pocket change to me. I don't want to be total ghetto and get a $20 rail that just bolts on to the existing handguard so i figure the FIRSH is a good compromize.
