[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Anyone built on a Double Star receiver yet?

I had my local FFL order an AR receiver for my first build-up as part of a trade and ended up with a forged Double Star receiver. Machine work appears very well done, but after a quick search of the site I've found no reference to this lower. I did find after a bit of research that Double Star is part of J&T Distributing. Just curious. Kelly

I have. It worked very well. J&T Distributing makes them.

Double Star has excellent Lowers and rifles. Just as good as anyone else's out there.

DoubleStar = JT Distributing = good stuff. Double Star is the name JT Distributing uses for their line of complete rifles, from what I can tell.

I think it would be just fine. I haven't built a rifle with on, but I do have a JT hat. The other guy got the Double Star hat.

Thanks for the replies. I'll probably build my rifle from a J&T kit so it'll all come from the same place.
