I've never had a problem with extraction so far on my 16" carbine. However I hear that they're prone to problems.

Should I upgrade as a precaution? If so what should I get (springs, o-rings etc...)?

Or not fix it if it's not broke?

Viton O-Ring. Cheap effective solution to enhance extraction.

xpower spring and hard chromed extractor from les baer,be a long time before that ever goes.
