Rock River stripped lower, plus a bag of parts. Last night, while watching "Attila" on the History Channel, I put it all together.

Yay me.

Don't it make ya' feel good to know that "you built it" and  saved some money to boot.  Now if anything goes wrong you won't be afraid to tear it apart to fix it because you know exsactly how it went together.  Good job.  Talk to ya'll later.  TN.Frank

Way to steal the thread, david. Nice job BTW. I don't think I'd get one, but I'm liking that skeleton stock more and more.

Actually I think the best part of building is when you realize it isn't any more likely to blow up or go auto than any other AR.

I put my nose to the charging handle with confidence and that feels pretty good. I will admit the first couple rounds were from the hip, just in case you know...

Unfortunately, the bulk of my $$$ is going into a honeymoon in Japan next year, so I have to build it nickel and dime at a time... currently I have a lower with a grip, but no buttstock...

I'll post pics as I go.
