Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - bushmaster short stock

I have two questions about this stock-is it as reliable as the full length A2, and would it work on a 20" upper?  Thanks in advance for all the help.

1) it will work...some/most of the time.  The problem is that it uses a Carbine buffer.  There is a chance of malfunction becauseof this.

2) It will be extremely ackward to shoulder.  Very front heavy.

Thanks Vinnie...does the shorty work OK on the carbine?  The reason I was wondering this is because for some reason, I have better luck with the 20" AR's, and thought the shorty stock would shorten it a little.
