How much of the bayonet lug needs to be removed for the upper to be postban legal? just enough so a bayonet no longer has the ablity to attach?

I've seen several with just the wings removed.  That way it still looks like it has a bayo lug, but it is non-functional.

Also remember that the AWB sunsets in less than a year. I advise against drastic alterations or costly post ban projects if you plan on restoring these weapons to "preban" later.

in CT we have a permenant version of the AWB that specifies bayonet lug so even if the federal ban does sunset its still a no go for me
