I'm looking to buy a new complete bolt and carrier as a replacement for my Colt AR-15 A2 Gov't model rifle, I'm not sure but I think the model number is 6520.

I called Colt parts and got a new employee who, after seeking help and advice from someone named 'Rich', quoted me a price of $477. I figured she must have made a mistake and quoted me the price for an entire upper assembly.

Can someone point me in the right direction please? And must I have the bolt 'timed' before I can use it?

I just bought one from CDNN and it is nice.  Be advised it is an M16 carrier.  There is considerable discussion on this board as to whether or not it is legal in a semi-auto.

Some people here are ticked with the guy who owns this company but I've never had a problem with him.
