Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - What is it made of?

I have a J&T kit on a RRA receiver. They do not match and being the way I am I do not like it. Question is, what is the upper receiver made of? (I would like to park it so I am hopeful that it is a ferris metal)

The upper should be aluminum just like the lower, and every other upper out there.

If the colors don't match real well, you have two options. Live with it, or send the upper and lower out to be refinished together.
