KKF's A3 TacBrake is a great replacement... I've got Kurt's A3 TacBrake on 2 of my carbines with 14 1/2" barrels. Reduced blast, they look great and his work is outstanding...

hay darkstar how does the kurts A3 brake compair to the miny y comp in reducing recoil and muzzle jump?

The KKF A3 brake seems to be very good but it can't be as effective as mini-Y comp in compensating since it has LESS blast... It is just a trade-off...
(but then there is hardly any recoil on 223) |
