Which flash hider is more effective on the short(11 1/2")bbl. XM177, the one with the slots or the holes?  I'm sure with such a short bbl. flash IS an problem. Which one works best.  Thanks, talk to ya' later.  TN.Frank

I have a short Oly W/ 5.5" flash that is slotted, you will see some flash with both types of FH, especially with Q131 or similar loads, especially at dusk or in the dark. I personally like the look of the slotted unit the best. Ive shot 'em with both types and there is flash with both but it is not really that bad, just damn loud.. John
