I bought SP129xxx in 11/80, new from a dealer. I would guess your gun was made Late 1979 or early 1980. Hope this helps.

However, in and/or after 1978.....the SN list shows SP360200 and Below. I feel that it could be a '79' or '80' as RenegadeX suggests. Thanks for the info y'all! |

The prefix is "SP" not "SP1". So your SN is 125xxx....
