Simple.  Effective.

J&T kit I assembled on a stripped Dalphon and my trusty Oly.

Lets see your basic rifles.

Very nice, clean looking rifles folks!

I appreciate a rifle that's light, will dance a beer can at 200yds and is tough enough to stand a little bangin' around.

How sad.  Such little response from this thread.  I think no one owns any KISS AR's anymore.  Truely rare indeed to see a plain AR.

I am a KISS type myself.  Converting most of my AR's to A1 upper recievers. [Gunny from Mail Csll] HORAAAAY !!!!! [/Gunny from Mail Csll]

Yaay Team!!!  Straightforward and simple. Sometimes I wonder about all the tricked out rifles I see on here. Makes me think of a new 4x4 with pretty paint, chrome everything, lights and all. Will it ever see "off the road"?

The plain AR carbine is the only way to go... Out of all my AR's, these 2 are my favorites...

Top, an ArmaLite M4C... Bottom, a Bushmaster Shorty.

Both configured identical.  KKF LW reprofiles, barrels cut to 14 1/2", A3 TacBrakes, Bushy M4 handguards, and Hogue grips...

My only remaining non-M4 carbine. Pre-ban Colt R6830 7.62x39

My old PWA carbine - I sold this upper and installed a Colt/Diemaco M4 upper and other fluff. You wanted basic carbines so...

Yep, Tangodown Battlegrip in green. Matches the rail panels better than in photo. Shoots great, but I'm looking to get an 18" SPR barrel one day.
