Recipe for fun – pics and vids.


I don’t get to spend as much time here as I’d like, and ARFCOM doesn’t need another Industry Partner, whose post count is entirely based in the EE.  I wanted to post some pics and videos of a good time I had the other day. We went through several 30rd mags in the AR, 1 mag to test a FAL I just put together, and probably close to 500 shotgun shells.  
TheRicker got to have the range session with the Aimpoint ACOG combo, I’ll leave the details of that for him to post.

Had a great time with Steve and Dave the other day. Thanks to Steve for setting it up thru Dave, and for supplying most of the ammo and birds (I owe you another $40).

After attaching the TA01-NSN behind my Aimpoint, I adjusted the crosshairs to line up with the dot. It was right on out to 50yds, but it needs some fine tuning after that. I'll try to get it sighted in better sometime this week (today would be nice, took a sick day, but it's raining).

Steve's pre-ban M3 was really nice to shoot. Makes me long to put the AR pistol-grip and stock on the 870. I need to shorten that mag tube, as well.

Dave had the full-choke in the 1300. Compared to our improved cylinder bores, he was really reaching out there.

Steve forgot to post the pic of himself and Dave. Wow, Dave DOES look like Bobby Hill. "You put the box in the tree!"
