well i note that it says ", NATO military scecs. "  discounting the spelling they aren't really saying that it is built to NATO specs are they?  Even if they were what specs for the screws, the finish?  The scope and mount don't appear to be any military issue configuration i'm aware of.

Its a $42 scope and mount and probably worth about that much, or less.  What the hey give it a shot what do you have to lose $40?  Maybe you'll get a good plinker scope.  No way i'd trust it on a weapon.

Thanks for your advice I've decided not to buy from them and go with another retailer: any suggestions?
