I'm sorry for dragging this up again and I'm sure this is the 1,237 millionth time this has been posted but I don't have a search feature.
So what AR are you going to reach for if TSHTF so bad you have to bug out, the full size or your carbine?
If this pisses to many people off I'll remove it or somebody can lock it, but I'd like to know.

1st choice: My pre-ban M4gery.
2nd choice: My pre-ban Bushmaster XM177E2

I actually like shooting and am better at shooting my XM177E2 but my M4 has all the bells & whistles and if the poop REALLY hit the fan I may need some of them.

Why my RRA 16" of course!...ACOG,M4 RAS....I guess it depends on the Situation...I live in a fairly congested area(by comparison) and may have to hoof it to my parents spread about 20 miles away,,,Remember ROADS ARE FOR THOSE WHO LIKE TO BE AMBUSHED..LOL...Anyway my Lady will be covering my 6 with either a mossberg590a1 or my 9mmAR and Our Pomeranian will be loaded down with extra supplies...[ROFL2][beer]................UNDERDOG

AH, I wish it was so easy but a bit more concerned about the other 50lbs of gear not including ammo.

Still I could use to lose a few pounds anyway.[:D]

If it really came down to it I would be shooting with my   20" bushy. It has been a reliable gun for some time now, and I don't see that changing any time soon. I like my SP1 carbine, but I have not worked with it as much as te bushy.
