Why does the semi LE Colts come with 2 twenty round magazines while their M-4 selective fire rifle comes with one 30 rounder?

OK, I'll be the one :)

That's easy!  It's more fun to shoot the full auto - so ....... bigger mags = fewer mag changes!

I can't speak for select fire, but yeah, more faster = better in the full auto.  In addition the Semi autos are often issued/used by patrol officers.  The 20s are easier to get in and out of the car.  I myself prefer the profile of the 20s for that reason.

I figured it was because the M-4 is primarily a military weapon and the military uses 30 rounders.
