I just won an AR !!!

[ARCHIVED THREAD] - I just won an AR !!!

I haven't won anything in years and just won a DPMS Lo Pro Classic with a Sightron 3-9X42 scope. All it took was a $20 ticket at the Friends of the NRA Banquet.

My question is how can I mount a bipod.
There is no front sight, no sling swivel, and no bayonet lug. I would imagine I could mount a Harris bipod if there was some kind of doohickey that someone made to attach it to the barrel or the hand guard.
I would also appreciate links to manufactures, pictures, etc.
In addition, does any one have any experience with the Sightron scope? It seems to be expensive, but I have never heard of them.
I know I am asking a lot for someone who just won and AR15. All my friends hate me now.
Anyway, I have to go now and pick up the rifle at the dealers – they would not let me take it home last night and the FFL would not let me sleep with it at his house.

That's what I need will order one tomorrow -- thanks. I picked up the rifle this evening and it is a hot set-up. Scope is pretty clear. Trigger is heavier than I'm used to, but it may break in a bit.
Didn't have any luck today, good or bad so I guess my streak is over.
I'd hate me too.

If you need someone to put a bipod on it just send it to me, of corse I have to test it for a bit but my turn around time is onlt 2-3 years!!

I wouldn't call myself a lucky person either, but I won an AR-15 too, of sorts.

Actually I won an HK SL8 at an HK demo shoot (my odds were pretty good though 1:30).

I sold it and got an AR15.[:D]

Sure does feel good to be on the other side of luck once in a while, doesn't it.

Yes, you understand.
I have ordered a hard case, bipod, bipod mount adaptor, match ammo, a cheekpiece and am looking into a match trigger.
Somehow, I think that this prize is not going to be free.
