Perhaps this is better put in the maintenance board, but a question on winter care...anybody have any ideas on keeping an AR in a vehicle that is daily exposed to warming up and cooling way down?? Been a long time since I lived up north, and I'm a little out of practice...Thanks

I would think moisture is your biggest concern.
Pack your weapon in a airtight gun box (pelican type) with dessicant packs.
One word of warning, those egg shell foam liners will hold in moisture and cause rust very quick.
If you are talking extreme cold, use a dry lubricant instead of oils, that will prevent the weapon from freezing up.
