There is a website, like 'No Ugly Guns' or 'NoUglyGuns.com' or something.  He does a great looking desert storm camo job.  I'm going that route when I can get the stocks off my M4gery and scrape up the 50 bucks.  My ISP is way too slow tonight, or I would get the link for you.  Maybe someone will be kind enough to fill it in.  He has several pictures on his site.

There is some outfits on here that sell tan stock sets... Adreline Arms and Cold Creek.

Laurer does some funky paint jobs that look pretty good.

Thanks guys for the overwhelming response but I wasn't clear.  I am thinking of refinishing the METAL on my AR in tan and would like to see yours or ARs done in any cool color on the metal.

MSTN I couldn't find the picture on the link you gave.

Thanks guys

KG Guncoat has the right selection of paint, including the new SOCOM adopted Flat Dark Earth, color number 2404F. It's the same color as Wes's SPR.

I'd say ya just pwnd everyone on this site with the suppressed preban/G36 pair. Perhaps you should spray a little something on the dustcover so it doesnt stand out so much after it flips open.

Nice pair you got going!! Eventually I hope to own a suppressed AR as well...we'll see [:D]

... No. It's an outdoor, textured paint produced by Rust-Oleum Corp.

... I really liked the ultra-flat textured feel. Found it at Home Depot

LarryG36, your m4 kicks A$$--I'm jealous.  Is that an AN-PEQ2 you have mounted on your RAS, or something similar?

I'm a relative newbie and have a new m4gery that I'd love to put an AN-PEQ2 (if civilian legal?) or something similar (like yours) if possible.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

It is an AN-PAQ4, and those and the PEQ2s aren't available to civilians.
