All the private FFL's I've talked to in the Bay Area want $60, and the gun stores want $50 plus 10% of the sale.

Being an FFL in the PRK is VERY expensive and difficult, as the state does what it can to make business hard and encourages FFLs to go away. Thus, there aren't all that many of them, and few are willing or able to do cheap transfers.
$60 is pretty good for anything that costs $500 or more. -Troy |
