I have seen some warnings about breaking in a new barrel.

My Rock River has a wilson 16" steel (not chrome) barrel. Where can I find information about breaking this barrel in?  I didn't find this type of info on the RR website.

IMo, prior to firing it the first time you should always clean the barrel good. The RRA SS heavy 1x12 twist barrel I got new was slam full of copper right off the bat. After cleaning, proceed with which ever method of breakin you prefer. I fired and cleaned after each for the first 10, then cleaned after every third shot until 19, then after every 5 till 29. Now I'll clean after every 10 or 20 from now on.

Right or wrong, thats how I do it.

Clean it before your first time at the range and shoot. This thing is a weapon not a guitar. It's more on how and when you clean them that makes the differance.
