Nice rifle, where's the telestock?

I wasn't fond of the telestock.

I just didn't see the need for it and it made the rifle feel very cheap. Even the RRA 6 position "rattled". I like the rock solid feel of the A2 stock.

That's a little out of my price range right now.

I can't even keep ammo in the house!

Nope I have a 550 cord mount on the front sight assembly, nothing special.

Haven't had a chance to test the heat-resistance.

Thats a beauty, i have a similar setup with the Eagle lower and i have to say i love what Eagle did and wish they did more! Nice purchase indeed!

ps- I have a tele stock and am planning on going to a solid stock, you're 100% correct in the weapon feeling much more sturdy with a solid item on the back of it

Very nice rifle young Padawan... glad you listened to me about the Hogue.  In time the Magpuls will drop in price.  I bought mine new off of a board member who needed to free up some cash.  NIW, Side sling adaptor, weaver accessory mounting rail for $200 shipped.  The deals are, and will be, out there.  You can try mine out at Gunstock and feel how great it is compared to tradition telestocks.

Nice.  Question though, where does the other end of that sling go?  Are you a lefty and it is attached on the other side, or is the sling a keeper type that hooks to a body harness/clothing or something?

Just slings over my shoulder, allows for easy low ready carrying, just a much versatile mount.
