I cant give you specific measurements but with my prebushy14.5 and post 14.5 I can hit 10"steel plates off hand no problem,I do know with carbines especialy the 14.5 acuracy is the same as the full size rifle out to 400 yds and out to 200 I use the big arperture my grouping is better with the smaller,but in real life only hits count.

With the right modifications and ammo you can easily achieve sub-moa accuracy with a carbine. Easily. This goes to show what the rifle itself is capable of. With a stock rifle with irons and standard ammo, somewhere right around 2moa would be pretty average I'd guess.

Regularly engage siholuete targets out to 600yds with issued M4A1 with 14.5" barrel, iron sights and issued M855 62gr ball.

SMV, get a good trigger in there and watch those groups shrink right up!

My Colt/RRA M4gery will put 5 into 3" at 200 yards. It's the shooter not the rifle most of the time.

Military ball, (XM193, Q3131a), is not designed for match accuracy. The problem is the FMJ bullet. I'm getting 2.5" at 100 yards with either of the above rounds. If you shoot match grade ammo, your groups should drop by half.

Short barrels are not inherently more inaccurate. Sometimes they are even more accurate because there is less barrel whip. This is all assuming the barrel is free floated. They don't, however, handle the heat as well as longer barrels (and they produce less velocity of course). Wes at MSTN has a 10.5" that shoots under 1 MOA, STOCK!

I have a 16" PCR-16 that is plenty accurate out to 300-400 with iron sights. after that I can't see shit and I need optics.
