KAC uses forged lowers, just like Colt.
Of the two, I'd probably pick the Knights if it includes a FF RAS, otherwise I'd get the Colt and add the FF RAS. -Troy |

with the Colt you can't mix and match parts is this true? Also what about after market stuff like the RAS. thanks

Id buy a bushy or a RRA and spend the rest on mags and ammo, or a Aimpoint or something
But thats just me, and your not me. Out of the two, Id get the Knights, they are nice rifles |

For $1300, I would biuld up a very nice weapon, outfit it the way I wanted, and then buy a case of ammo, or two.

Personally, I'd buy a buy a Bushy, and spend the rest of the money an an RAS II (or SIR, or ...) and some other stuff to hang off it. If I had to get either the KAC or the Colt, I'd get the KAC. Last time I looked, the SR-15 M4 was a little more than $1300. I could be wrong on that.
