The .222(mag.) and .223 are pretty much identical ballisticaly
The .223 was developed as the shoulder on the .222 was to steep for reliable auto use. So any data for the .223 should be almost identical. As for 300 m shooting, the lighter round of the .222 will be more susceptible to wind, and outside influence. For distance, I would not recommend the round past 350 m, while a 7.62 (308) is accurate out to 800 m. |

I LOVE THE 222REM I have a bolt rifle that shots 1/2 or even less groups all day long!
I even go out to say that the 222 is more accurate than 223! This is from the OLD SCHOOL! And from years of shooting with friends! I think its the Neck of the case that helps anlong with a slower velocity! |

Hi!
I was in Madrid Spain this past April and saw an AR-15 in a outdoor shop (don't know the name). Your country is nice but what does it take to get an AR there? THANKS CRC |

Hi again:
In Spain in order to own an AR15 or any other semiauto or bolt action rifle you must be a hunter and pay the hunting and the firearms license every year (like 100 dollars a year for both)...or (like me), being a target shooter and pay the licenses too. With the target shooting license you can buy handguns and rifles. Getting the license is similar to the driving one (test included), but much easier (there are thousands of shooters with a license along the country). greetings from Rapaz (Spain) |
