Some of these picts were posted... but I have a small question.  From the pict, it looks like he's carrying single-stack 1911 mags.  I didn't know the 1911 is still being issued outside of SO.

What kind of uniforms are those?  I have only seen DEA recruits wearing khaki BDU's and only during training.

Loads of departments wear them for training and other assorted work.  Not sure about the military though.

more than likely its a CVC suit in desert tan. (what tank crews wear) little roomier cut. more pockets.

Marine Recon units use the Nomex flight suit as standard gear for C/T missions that might require breeching charges.  Pics of them on the ground in Iraq had them in tri-color desert BDUs.
