Well, he's wanting 600.00 cash , I own a bushmaster xm-15, and was wondering if the assault rifle was as dependable as my xm-15.It' looks to be in pretty good shape. And I was thinking about getting rid of the CEMTE,because
I already got 2 M1A's. |

Sounds like he's offering you $300 for the CETME and 10 mags. I'd be insulted. $200 for the rifle, $10 per mag?

I had one...
Look inside it VERY CAREFULLY and see if its full of M16 parts. (Hammer, etc). Mine was. If it is, then I'd pass. BATF takes a dim view of M16 parts in a semi-auto rifle...although I've heard that its not illegal. Mine was a decent shooter, but it doubled alot so I got rid of it. (sold it to a blind guy at a gun show) Honest. |

The Bushmaster Assault Rifle is a neat rifle from a collector's point of view, but as a RIFLE, it's really pretty crappy. Personally, I wouldn't pay $600 for one; I'd rather have another AR15 (even if I needed to add another $200), or an AR180B. The Bushmaster Assault Rifle isn't very reliable, it certainly not elegant or refined, and doesn't have much if any parts support.
