Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - GG&G receiver end plate sling adapter...will it work with an A1 stock?

My A1 stock doesn't use a receiver end plate. It just snugs right up against the receiver.
Will GG&G's rig work or is it only for the A2 stock?

It will fit, but GG&G supplies a longer stock screw for use only with A2 stocks. What I would do is cut down a standard A2 scew until it fit without protruding into the buffer tube.
