While surfing the WEB I came across this Site. Check it out if you dare:

www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?product_id=1507707&sourceid=0100000030660805302498

Scary huh?

Why exactly do you consider this scary??

Because Wal-Mart is the epitome of liberal.

If they're so liberal, then why do they sell guns and ammo?

I don't know if them selling that book is scary, but I can say, that book is frightening. My friend gave it to me with a stack of other old books he had. Its the worst AR related literature I've ever read, that is, unless you are interested in mounting a BB gun or a slingshot to the bottom of your AR.

I have never seen an AR-15 in the little round gun cabinets in Wally World (in my town there is a round rack for shotguns and a round rack for rifles and black powder)........

mostly imported....NAFTA and Gun Laws Suck.

Target = Liberal
Kmart = well, Rosie...need I say more

Wal-Mart.  I buy ammo, hunting equipment, and I bought my 22 rifle from there.

I think you are confused

Walmart = retailing Nazi

They are taking over, putting the mom and pop business out all over.  Support your local economy.  Keep your money in town, don't send it to Bentonville AR.

I would be careful about comparing Wal Mart to the Nazis....

Yeah, they will put the little folks out of business.  But, only because people shop at Wal Mart!!!!

Everybody is in it to make money, no doubt.  But the average consumer is really the one putting Mom&Pop out of business.

It's that typical "anything real big is evil" attitude once again...

What is that link to?  I can't bring up that WALMART link at the top of the thread.  I wish I knew what you were talking about.  By the way, it was KMART like a few days after 9/11 that cameout and publically announced their intention to stop selling all guns and ammo.  Like guns had anything to do w/ 9/11.  Bastards

As stated above Walmart is not Anti-gun! From articles I've read when the Anti's forced K-mart and Target out of gun related sales Ol' Wallymart told them polietly to piss off. Walmart also sponsers various fishing, hunting and firearms saftey programs. I'll try to find some of the stuff I've read and post links but I'm sure someone has some documentation to post as well. I'm interested I'm seeing any Anti-gun Walmart views too though.

You obviously are closed minded and do not know anything about Wal-mart or Sam Walton's family.

His son John Walton was Special Forces medic and earned a Silver Star for his actions on 3 August, 1968, in the Ashau Valley.

Wal-Mart is pro-Armed forces and Pro-Gun, hence why they sells guns as K-mart is phasing them out and Target never sold them.

As for the Mom and Pop stores, sorry, I spend my money were I can get most bang for the buck....which is Wal-Mart..

I dont get it either.I'm glad to see it.I do know that the Wal-Mart in Bentonville Ar has cut back on the different gun magazines they sell.I found 3 different magazines when I was there on Monday. They quit selling Blades and Knives Ill.five years ago.
My home is about a 20 minute drive to the "Home Office" for Wal-Mart.

I don't go to Wal-mart because I don't like unhelpful, slow, or absent employees.  The gun counter people, in my experience, have either been completely unknowledgeable, or off on break somewhere, unable to be found.

I spend my shooting budget at real gunstores.  To me, it's not worth the $.50 savings to waste my time.

I guess if you're not knowledgeable, then you need the help of the real gun store.  For me I'll take whomever has the best prices.  I can reasearch on my own and don't need a gun store expert.

I don't go to walmart to learn anything, and the guys and girls at the counter aren't there because of their expertice on the products.  That said, I go to gunstores to buy guns, and i goto walmart to buy ammo because I save way more than 50 cents.

They do sell handguns. In fact they will sell you anything that is in the Lipsey cat. Just ask. The manager knows.

I asked Walmart to get me a handgun and they told me they won't order them. They would not even order me a special rifle.
