I have a couple of Pre Ban Bushmasters.

I was trying to switch uppers around.

The one lower both of my uppers go on fine.

On the other lower the Front Pivot Pin will only go into this one upper about half way and then it won't move??

I posted about this before and someone said they used rubbing Compound on the Pivot Pin but there has to be another way?

Anyone else have this problem?

I don't want to use a hammer and risk damage to the lower.

Please Help Me ?  Thanks..

Bushmaster says a New Pivot Pin would solve the Problem?

What Ya Think?

How do you get the Old One Out with the Detent in there?

Look under the ejection port.  You'll see a small hole and see the spring inside that is holding the detent in place.
