Has anybody seen any of the Republic of China AR type rifles? They seem to be producing some pretty cool looking variants for the military.
Found an interesting website with a lot of new Chinese/Taiwanese military gear.
www.geocities.com/Pentagon/Camp/3592/T65 variants seem to be the main issue of the Army there and are replacing the M16A1 and M14's that they have been using in the past. It looks like it has an AR-18 style sight and stock, with a different more ergonomic type of handguard. My guess is that this type of furniture will fit our AR's, any idea if it would be legal to import furniture like for use in American made AR's? I think a T86 or T65K3 clone would be pretty badass. Furniture might be specially designed to be more ergonomic for a yellow fellow like myself. I know they made an FN MAG type gun, but with a couple minor modifications to fit the Chinese physique a little bit better. Mainland China also has a pretty neat looking SA-80/FAMAS type rifle shooting 5.8x42mm. I remember reading a report on the ballistics of the 5.8x42mm cartridge that China has switched to, and by all reports, it seemed to have a slight edge on 5.56x45mm.
Also found a cool new rifle from Singapore...
