I think the rule is that you get what you pay for, if you get good parts cheap you are either going to get screwed, get bad parts, and/or bad and slow service. Dont be cheap, go quailty with Bushy or legal transfers and you will be much happier.

Some of that cheapie stuff is made in china junk or rejects.
There are plenty of dealers listed in the "Industry" section that will sell you barrels and uppers, not necessarily the brands you list, though,more likely DPMS, Rock River etc. If your not married to Bushie Armaltite try ADCO, CMMG, Fulton Armory etc I asked the same question as you here:: http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=118&t=151742&w=searchPop I ended up with a Bushmaster barrelled upper assembled by Coal Creek Armory |
