I posted this before and was wondering why you can not still use the Bushmaster A3 Flat Top Carry handle with the SIR #50 ??

Is the Rail on the #50 too small?

I imagine there wouldnt be a problem mounting it, but there is no way you could use it. Rear sight would be too high above the front.

Hawkeye is correct the carry handle would sit too high in relation to the front sight.

I, beleive, that the carry handle will mount to the SIR, as a carry handle. But it will sit too high to align with thr front sight.
