Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Storing my gun receivers…..

I have several receivers lying around that I have not yet built up (i.e. AR, M1A, etc.).  I am probably not going to be able to get to them for a little bit due to time; I want to know, how should I store them?  I am planning on putting them in my safe, but should I wrap them in anything to keep them from suffering any type of damage and what not?  Thanks everyone in advance!

I just kept mine in a tool box (spare AR parts) wrapped in the bubblewrap that Bushmaster shipped them in.  Ones been there for almost 6 years with no problems.
