I just got a new kit this week and was messing around with the upper getting it ready to shoot tommorow. I pulled the charging handle back to make sure everything was smooth, when I let it go I noticed it won't latch. I tried pushing on it and pulling the bolt carrier and handle out and re-installing them with no luck.

I tried a Rock River carrier and handle and they work fine, although the Rock River carrier is alittle different. The firing pin is shrouded and the cutout on the bottom of the carrier doesn't go as far back as the new one.

Am new to AR's and just wondering if this is something I can fix, or should I just call the manufacturer.
