Hey thanks Vinnie.  My birthday's actually July 2.  I was trying to get Mom to shoot for the 4th, but try arguing with your mother!  

I got to get a pic of this thing posted somehow.  It came out cool.

And listen, the rest of you guys, please quit sending cards and money.  I am profoundly grateful, but you're going to kick me into a higher tax bracket.

Moreover, FWIW, this thing happened because I bought the wrong gun.  But then, life is trial and error, so how else could you know?

The guys at Bushmaster went the extra mile (and then some) to fix, . . . actually not to fix anything.  They really went the extra mile just to make some faceless, nameless customer happy.  I know I've read some guys complaining about them not getting out stuff as quickly as they would have liked.  There's always a bizillion reasons for those things, sometimes they're even valid.  Besides, we all want our toys YESTERDAY!  

But I really have to say that they went out of their way to accommodate me (and I know I'm a pain in the ass) and boy did they deliver.

I haven't been able to shoot the thing yet because I'm moving, but as soon as I do I will report.  

So Vinnie, if you and the rest of the guys here, could show up at my place around 0800 hrs., we should easily be able to be done by noon.  Then we could all wonder out into the desert and blow the hell out of anything that strikes our fancy for the remainder of the day.

I'll buy the beer, but you got to bring your own bullets.
