Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - How do I change followers in my 10 round mags

I have 3 of the riveted style 10-rounds mags with green followers that I would rather have in my 30 round mags, but I can't seem to get the durn things apart?  Anyone have any helpful info?

That's the whole idea with the newer post ban magazines, you can't take them apart, so that you can't manipulate the amount of rounds they can hold.  If you are really intent on getting the followers out, you'd have to destroy the magazine.

Take a screwdriver, pop the weld, crack open the magazine, and take out the green follower. The 10-round magazines irritate me to no end, and ruining one for a follower wouldn't hurt my feelings a bit!
