Is it as easy to put a ras on as it is to take regular hand gaurds on and off?

Basically. The top part, which is 3/4 of the unit, has a tongue on the front that fits under the handguard cap. And at the rear, there is a clamp that drops down under the barrel nut,and a screw to tighten it up. The bottom piece is just like regular HG's.
If you're about to do this, tape up your delta ring first, to help prevent scrating it.[;)]
